The Cordova School District serves the community of Cordova, Alaska situated on Prince William Sound. Cordova has a stable population of approximately 2,200 people year around. The school district serves approximately 285 pupils in three schools.

A national magazine is out with its list of the top high schools in America, and a dozen in Alaska made the grade. They are Cordova, Craig, Homer, Klawock, Kotzebue, Mt.
