The last couple days there was a huge oil leak and it’s still going on. They say that the leak is at high speeds, 5 thousand pounds of oil is being pored into the Gulf Of Mexico every day. They came up with an idea, they want to inject garbage in to the hole at a high velocity which would hopefully plug the hole and stop the leak of oil and stop a major problem. By doing this idea though there could be a major set back if it doesn’t work for example what if the pressure to high and it shoots the garbage back into the ocean that just make the ocean even worse then it already is.
Is it really worth the chance of polluting the ocean with more garbage?
how long is it going to take them to find another idea and save part of Gulf Of Mexico?
I am going to talk about the article that I was reading its about the garbage that’s massive in the Atlantic. researchers carried out 6,100 tows in areas of the Caribbean and the North Atlantic off the coast of the US. All the plastics that they picked up, they say it was about a cm big at the most really although there was a lot of it in the ocean. The maximum plastic density was 200,000 pieces of debris per square kilometer. sense the plastic is so dang small and there’s so much of it there’s a good chance that animals in the ocean have been consuming it which is not good.
How much do the animals consume of the plastic?
Will the Atlantic or the ocean ever be clean from all the plastic?

The article that I am reading is about this man who loves cuttlefish. He explains how he became involved with cuttlefish in his life. The man starts by explaining about how great cuttlefish are. Then he goes in to his history with cuttlefish, when he first encountered a cuttlefish. 20 years later he gets way more in to cuttlefish. He finds two cuttlefish and he feeds them, takes care of them. The origin of the cuttlefish has not been a 100 % figured out quite yet. It is not a fish, it is a Cephalopod.
My question is that why is it not a fish also?
I was reading this article, it was about this restaurant in Hong Kong, they would get an import of fish or sea animals and they would put the in glass boxes or put them out to buy. When they do this there still alive and eventually they die. The worst part is that there are more fish swimming in small tanks then they are in the whole dang ocean.
They eventually started to import about 90 % of seafood. The scientists say that this is bad because we are eating the fish out of existence. They also say that it’s becoming harder to find fish in quantities that they required from boats or ships or however the get the fish.
What will happen in the next ten years will a lot of sea life be extinct?
Will we eventually be out of jobs if this keeps happening?
